Stakeholders and Partners – Students
Stakeholders and Partners: Students
We are excited about your future! There are so many options available to you and we want you to be able to make well-informed decisions that are aspirational and realistic.
We want all of our students to see Unifrog as the first place they look for careers guidance. Please email Mrs Cook (hcook@wilmslowhigh.com) if you have any questions about Unifrog or your account isn’t working.
Our careers programme for you mainly takes place during Personal Development Curriculum lessons – click here to see the programme for 2024-5. Years 7 – 12 also follow the STEPS programme during morning registration in Week B. This means that you have a regular careers focus in school and are always learning more about your options and the working world.
All students from Years 7 – 13 are able to book a 1-1 careers appointment with Laura Bailey who is our fully qualified careers adviser. Click here to find out more about who she is and what you will gain from an appointment with her.
We also recommend you read High Notes every Friday when Mr Vincent sends it out. We get lots of opportunities through, from employers to apprenticeships and universities, and want you to make the most of what’s out there!
Students can access Get The Jump https://nationalcareers.service.gov.uk/explore-your-education-and-training-choices for further information about careers.
https://earlycareers.co.uk/north-west/ allows you to search local jobs and apprenticeships
